Dedicated to Aristophanes, one of most famous Greek comic playwrights of the 5th century and the father of comedy.

His plays, such as The Birds/Ornithes, The Assembly Women/ Ecclesiazusae  and Lysistrate, are played every year at the theater of Epidaurus and elsewhere.

The main characteristic of his work is how he was satirizing the social and political issues of his time. It is his exaggeration and analogies that he drew attention to both particular and wider issues, a value that makes his work relevant and relatable even today.

Aristophanes would definitely be a fan of Pop Art, characterized by spontaneity, creative exaggeration, satire, intense contrasts and the rejection of the traditional.

The apartment is decorated with a joyful pop art note, so we can move from the subversive character of Aristophanes to the mild mood of Pop Art.
